Zennor Asset Management has announced the appointment of Tatjana Evans-MacLeod as Chief Executive Officer, joining the firm from Baillie Gifford. The newly created role strengthens the leadership team as the investment boutique enters its next phase of growth and expands its product offering.
Tatjana brings extensive international experience. She began her career at J.P. Morgan in New York before moving to Morgan Stanley in a capital markets role and later to Credit Suisse First Boston. Since joining Baillie Gifford in 2015, she has served as a relationship lead and investment specialist focused on public equities, securing new mandates and developing strong partnerships with institutional investors.
The appointment comes as Zennor continues to reinforce its position as a specialist investment boutique. Founded in 2020 by James Salter and David Mitchinson, the firm now manages just under $2 billion in assets.
James Salter, Founding Partner, said: Since founding Zennor just over five years ago, our goal has been to build a specialist investment boutique, and the time has come to strengthen our leadership team. Tatjana’s appointment enables David and me to focus fully on investment management as the firm enters its next stage of growth. We are delighted she is joining us and relocating from Edinburgh to London to take on this role. Her vision, strategic experience and extensive global network make her an outstanding addition to the leadership team.
Evans-MacLeod commented: It is a tremendous privilege to join Zennor at such an important stage in the firm’s development. James, David and the team have created something truly distinctive — a culture shaped by decades of experience in Japan, resilience through market cycles and a clear strategic vision. I look forward to supporting the continued growth of the business as we broaden the product range and deepen partnerships with clients around the world.
