Gregorio De Felice, new president of Eurizon

The General Shareholders' Meeting of Eurizon Capital has appointed Gregorio De Felice as director and chairman of the Board of Directors, with the favorable vote of the sole shareholder, Intesa Sanpaolo. De Felice will combine these responsibilities with his current position as chief economist and director of Research at Intesa Sanpaolo.
The agreement of the Meeting strengthens the ties between Eurizon Capital and Intesa Sanpaolo, confirming Gregorio De Felice as the highest authority of the Board of Directors of the manager. The executive maintains simultaneously his functions as chief economist and director of Research at Intesa Sanpaolo.
Career of Gregorio De Felice
With extensive experience in financial analysis and governance, De Felice has held various significant positions in the sector:
- Chairman of the Board of Directors of the R&I Foundation (Research and Entrepreneurship), 2022-2025.
- President of the AIAF (Italian Association of Financial Analysis), 2007-2010.
- President of the ICCBE (International Conference of Commercial Bank Economists), 2015-2018.
- Graduated from Bocconi University.
- Member of the Group of Chief Economists of the European Banking Federation.
- Member of the boards of directors of Prometeia, ASSBB, Assonebb, ISPI, SRM, GEI, the Foundation for Economic and Social Research, the Manlio Masi Foundation, the Robert Triffin International Foundation, the Urban Network of Representatives and the Board of the main pension fund of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group.
He is the author of numerous publications on financial markets, the evolution of the Italian and European banking system, monetary policy and public debt management.
