Jörg Moshuber, a prominent figure in sustainability-focused investing at Europe's largest asset manager, Amundi, is set to transition to a new role at Austrian asset manager Schoellerbank Invest. Effective August, Moshuber will join the board of Schoellerbank Invest, bringing his wealth of experience and expertise to the Austrian firm. His predecessor at Schoellerbank Invest, Michael Schützinger, is stepping down as a board member after 23 years.
Moshuber's departure from Amundi marks the end of a significant chapter, where he served as the head of multi-asset balanced, income, and real return ESG solutions. During his tenure at Amundi, he played a pivotal role as a lead fund manager, contributing to the management of the €1.4bn Amundi Ethik fund since 2011.
With a career spanning over a decade at Amundi, Moshuber has been instrumental in shaping the multi-asset management team and driving sustainable investment initiatives. His commitment to sustainability extends beyond his professional responsibilities, as evidenced by his involvement in impact finance organizations like Imfino and contributions to sustainability working groups within the Association of Austrian Investment Companies.
At Schoellerbank Invest, Moshuber's appointment underscores the firm's strategic focus on sustainability and responsible investing. His wealth of knowledge and leadership in ESG solutions is expected to bolster Schoellerbank Invest's position in the Austrian asset management landscape.
Meanwhile, at Amundi, the multi-asset fund management team will continue its operations under the leadership of Amélie Derambure, who heads the balanced sustainable desk in Paris. The team comprises senior portfolio managers Thomas Kellner and Martin Bohn, overseeing equity and bond portfolios, respectively, along with junior portfolio manager David Wilke.
