La Française is reshaping the leadership of its distribution platform to accelerate growth in Europe and Asia. The asset management division of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale announced today that Mickaël Bonomo has been appointed CEO of La Française Finance Services (LFFS), effective 1 July 2026, and has also joined the La Française Executive Committee.
As of 31 December 2025, the group managed more than €163 billion in assets, with 1,000 professionals and a presence in 10 countries.
In his new role, Bonomo will oversee all distribution activities of the La Française group, which brings together eight asset management companies: Crédit Mutuel Asset Management, Crédit Mutuel Impact, Crédit Mutuel Gestion, La Française SAM, La Française REM, CIC Private Debt, New Alpha AM and Cigogne Management.
His brief is to accelerate inflows from target client segments, strengthen existing partnerships and support the development of the group's offering in its key markets, Europe and Asia.
The appointment of Mickaël Bonomo marks a new chapter in our development. His deep knowledge of our investment capabilities, combined with his ability to motivate teams and turn commercial ambition into results, will be key to our success.
Guillaume Cadiou, CEO, La Française Group
Bonomo's roadmap rests on clear quantified objectives and on executing the group's strategic plan in close cooperation with its management companies. The move adds to a wider push by asset managers to reinforce their commercial reach.
Our distribution platform is well positioned to grow in these markets. We have a recognised product range, teams on the ground and strong demand for our expertise. My role is to set clear quantified objectives, lead the teams and drive the execution of our strategic plan, working closely with our asset management companies, so that each key market can fully realise its growth potential.
