Natixis Investment Managers announced today, October 22, 2026, the creation of Global Client Development, a division that will bring together all the teams serving clients across the value chain and will enable the firm to adapt its distribution model to accelerate its global growth.
Fabrice Chemouny, currently Head of International Distribution, will lead the new division as Chief Client Officer and report directly to Philippe Setbon, CEO of Natixis IM. The division will have three areas: Client Markets, Partnerships, and Product Range & Solutions.
The reorganization is part of Groupe BPCE’s VISION 2030 strategic plan and Natixis IM’s ambition for organic growth. In particular, the aim is to adapt the firm’s distribution model to better meet its clients’ needs.
The creation of a single global platform, integrating the United States and other international markets, will foster synergies between regions and improve operational agility. It will also make it easier for clients to access the full range of investment capabilities offered by Natixis IM and its affiliated asset managers.
We are a global player with deep local roots. In an increasingly fragmented international environment, we want to strengthen both dimensions. Our strategic plan has proven successful, and we want to go one step further. This new organization further reinforces the central role of clients in our model across all regions and helps accelerate our growth.
Philippe Setbon, CEO of Natixis Investment Managers
Client Markets will organize distribution across six regions. Each will focus on its clients’ investment needs and preferences, taking into account the regulations and specific characteristics of its market:
The Partnerships area will be tasked with strengthening existing strategic distribution partnerships and establishing new ones with banking networks, insurers and other distributors around the world, making Natixis IM’s offering accessible to a broader client base.
The new Product Range & Solutions department will define the product range strategy based on client needs. It will develop solutions in areas such as retirement, long-term savings and wealth management, drawing on the offerings of the investment managers affiliated with Natixis IM.
“By bringing our teams together in a new global organization, we combine in-depth knowledge of each market with the strength of an international player. We will also make our offering available to more clients through new distribution partnerships and work with them to develop solutions tailored to their long-term needs. This transformation will give us the agility we need to navigate volatile markets, foster synergies across regions and drive innovation in the service of our clients.”

The new organizational structure will be implemented once the information and consultation process with the relevant employee representative bodies has been completed. Chemouny will take up his new position on January 1, 2027.
