Rankia Funds Experience Europe, the III Edition

Industry professionals in attendance had the opportunity to attend valuable meetings with the 9 participating asset managers, networking with attendees from all over Europe and much more…
Our European flagship event gathered nearly 100 professionals from the industry who had the opportunity to hear firsthand the investment strategies and products from 9 fund management firms. In addition to listening to the value propositions of the asset managers and learning about the products they were presenting, our attendees had the opportunity to discuss and share insights and visions with fund managers and other attendees in a more relaxed and friendly way in the networking activities held during the Rankia Funds Experience Europe.
Throughout the one-to-few meetings held on Thursday and Friday, both managers and professionals exchanged their insights on European's asset management industry and had the chance to learn firsthand about nine investment ideas through the respective portfolio managers.
The III edition of the Rankia Funds Experience Europe kicked off on Wednesday hosting a welcome cocktail where attendees from all over Europe could meet and share insights and opinions.
On Thursday morning, the session began with the inaugural speech given by Jose Antonio Sánchez, Sales Manager at RankiaPro Europe, who welcomed all the attendees and introduced the III edition of the Rankia Funds Experience Europe.
Following the inaugural speech, we kicked off the workshops, where the nearly 100 attendees met in one-to-few meetings to discover and discuss the different products and value propositions of each of the asset managers. In these working sessions, the attendees had the opportunity to discover new investment products directly from the fund managers themselves, as well as to share their concerns and discover the investment philosophy, selection process and performance.
After a highly productive morning where attendees met six of the asset managers participating on the Rankia Funds Experience Europe, our attendees and fund managers were able to enjoy the Paella Cooking, a networking activity in which the attendees, together with the fund managers, dared to cook a traditional Paella. Divided into 9 teams, our attendees followed all the steps and tips from our Chefs to make a traditional Paella and achieve the Paella Cooking Championship!
After becoming Paella Masters, the attendees enjoyed some free time to explore the city centre of Valencia, relax at the hotel, or take a walk along the beach.
Back at the event, our attendees joined a gastronomic dinner at the amazing spot Veles e Vents. Following the dinner, the RankiaPro Europe Awards 2024 ceremony was held, hosted by Gordon Puckey, the winners of the 2024 RankiaPro Awards were announced. Find out who the winners are!
On Friday morning, we resumed the final one-to-few meetings. Our attendees had the opportunity to meet with the remaining three fund managers, learn about their investment products, and understand their investment philosophy. By the end of these three one-to-few meetings, all the fund managers had met with nearly 100 professional investors in the one-to-few sessions.
On the III Edition of Rankia Funds Experience Europe, attendees had the opportunity to explore investment ideas presented by fund managers from the following firms: abrdn, Global X, HSBC, Impax Asset Management, Lazard Fund Managers, Lumyna, Nomura Asset Management, NS Partners, Zennor Asset Management.
After that, the one-to-one sessions began, where attendees met individually with the fund managers they were most interested in. This allowed them to resolve doubts, learn more about the fund managers and their products, and exchange opinions in a closer and more private manner. After another fruitful day we concluded the event with a networking lunch in the gardens of the Hotel Balneario las Arenas.
