Spring Capital hires ex-Schroders Product Governance Boss as Chief Operating Officer

Spring Capital Partners, the independent distribution partner for boutique asset managers, has named Anna O’Donoghue – formerly Global Head of Product Development & Governance at Schroders – as Chief Operating Officer. Her appointment comes as Spring Capital’s business continues to expand, with its investment manager partners extending their fund distribution across multiple jurisdictions.
O’Donoghue began her financial industry career in 2002 as a fund selector at IMS. She went on to hold similar positions at F&C and AXA Architas, before being promoted to Investment Chief Operating Officer in 2016. In 2019, she joined Schroders as Head of Operations & Governance, and in 2021 she became its Global Head of Product Development & Governance, a role she held until taking up her new position at Spring Capital last week.
Anna’s appointment is a real coup for Spring Capital. As the business expands, our investment manager partners are increasingly operating across different jurisdictions with diverse service providers. Anna’s considerable investment and governance experience will be invaluable as we grow, while continuing to deliver exceptional service for our investment manager partners and their clients.
