XIII Edition of Rankia Funds Experience Lisbon brings together leading fund managers and Portuguese professional investors
On Thursday, May the 29th, we hosted the XIII edition of Rankia Funds Experience Lisbon at the EPIC SANA Marquês Hotel, bringing together more than 50 professional investors for a day dedicated to investment insights, networking, and high-level fund management discussions.
Our flagship event in Portugal once again provided a dynamic forum to foster dialogue between asset managers and professional investors, creating valuable opportunities to explore new strategies and deepen market perspectives.
Throughout the day, participants had the chance to hear from eight leading fund management firms, who presented their investment ideas directly through their portfolio managers. The event featured presentations from: Carmignac, DJE, DNB Asset Management, Exane Asset Management, Invesco, La Française, Lazard Asset Management, and Natixis Investment Managers.
The event kicked off with a welcome address by Alejandro Ortola, Sales Manager at RankiaPro, who opened the XIII edition and set the tone for a productive day of discussions and learning at the Rankia Funds Experience Lisbon.
Following the opening remarks, attendees participated in our signature ‘One to Few’ working sessions, where managers engaged in roundtable discussions with small groups of investors. Over a series of 25-minute sessions, fund managers detailed their investment philosophy, recent performance trends, and the composition of their strategies, allowing participants to gain in-depth insights in a focused and interactive format.
A mid-morning coffee break allowed for informal networking, providing an ideal moment for attendees to exchange views and reflect on the strategies presented.
After completing all eight 'One to Few' sessions, guests gathered for a networking lunch on the hotel’s rooftop terrace, enjoying panoramic views of Lisbon in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
In the afternoon, the event continued with 'One to One' sessions, giving professional investors the opportunity to meet privately with the fund houses of their choice. These personal meetings allowed for more tailored discussions and created space for investors to explore potential partnerships or dig deeper into specific strategies.
