Bitwise has announced the listing of the Bitwise NEAR Staking ETP (ticker: NEAR) on Deutsche Börse Xetra, marking a further step in the firm’s European expansion of indexed staking ETPs.
The new product provides investors with exposure to the NEAR protocol, a layer-one blockchain designed for the age of artificial intelligence, currently supporting over 45 million monthly active users and around eight million daily transactions. The ETP aims to stake the NEAR tokens it holds, targeting an estimated annual yield of 5.5% net of fees and TER, while maintaining daily liquidity on the regulated market.
The Bitwise NEAR Staking ETP targets investors familiar with digital assets who are seeking regulated, low-cost solutions to diversify their portfolios. It is a physically backed product, issued in Germany, designed to deliver efficient staking returns by reinvesting daily rewards within the ETP. Performance is tracked against the CF NEAR Staked Return Index, providing transparency and a clear benchmark against commonly observed NEAR staking yields.
The ETP is the fourth product in Bitwise’s European Total Return suite, which includes the Bitwise Ethereum Staking ETP, recently surpassing €200 million in assets under management.
We are excited to launch this new ETP in partnership with the NEAR Foundation. In a crowded crypto landscape, we are proud to partner with a true pioneer in blockchain and AI. The Bitwise NEAR Staking ETP offers investors exposure to NEAR’s price movements, alongside staking reward yields, all within Bitwise’s best-in-class ETP structure.
Bradley Duke, managing director and head of Europe, Bitwise.
NEAR technology was built to power a new kind of internet—one where AI serves people, not platforms. This ETP brings that vision closer to investors around the world. By making NEAR more accessible through Bitwise’s trusted products, we are accelerating the mainstream adoption of user-owned AI infrastructure.
