Liontrust has appointed Sophie Andrews as head of UK strategic partners and consolidators to further expand its fund range across the adviser market.

Andrews will oversee the development of the firm's relationships with distribution partners, including IFA firms, ratings agencies, and insurance companies.

She joins from Franklin Templeton, where she became part of the team in 2020 following its acquisition of Legg Mason. At Legg Mason, she served as head of UK strategic alliances since 2018. Prior to this, she held roles in strategic relationship management at JP Morgan Asset Management.

Liontrust's Sustainable Future, Multi-Asset, and Economic Advantage ranges are already established across the adviser market. The firm aims to promote its European Dynamic fund and Global Innovation fund range further within this audience.
