Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM) has announced the launch of DOM Global Macro, a liquid, diversified absolute-return UCITS strategy aimed at providing institutional and private clients with access to alternative return sources. The fund starts with an initial commitment of $100 million, marking a significant step in LOIM's expansion of its Alternatives franchise.
The DOM Global Macro strategy is positioned to generate positive absolute returns regardless of market conditions, addressing the challenges posed by evolving market regimes and unexpected correlation breakdowns. By introducing stability and resilience, it complements traditional portfolios and enhances long-term performance potential.
The strategy is managed by a team with over 75 years of combined experience in multi-asset macro strategies. It is co-led by Valentin Petrescou and Didier Anthamatten, who joined LOIM in April 2024. The team previously managed $1.8 billion in two UCITS strategies, building their expertise in navigating market regimes and periods of heightened volatility.
With the launch of DOM Global Macro, clients benefit from the team’s extensive expertise managing multi-asset macro strategies that target absolute returns. This launch reflects our commitment to delivering differentiated strategies that create sustainable value for clients.
