Vanguard has announced a new reduction in commissions in Europe with the reduction of the ongoing charges figure (OCF) of the Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF, one of the most traded exchange-traded funds among investors on the continent. From July 28, 2026, the cost of the product will go from 0.19% to 0.14%, a measure with which the manager estimates an annual saving of about 37 million dollars for the participants.
The reduction exceeds 25% and affects a vehicle that has established itself as one of the main options for those seeking global exposure through a single investment. The Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF has gained popularity in Europe for its simplicity and for offering broad international diversification.
According to data provided by the firm, the ETF has attracted more than 16,000 million dollars in net flows so far this year and currently manages about 75,000 million dollars in assets. With these figures, Vanguard places it as the fastest growing global ETF available to European investors.
The entity frames this decision in a continued policy of cost reduction. After the various cuts applied in the last 24 months, the total estimated saving for investors already exceeds 80 million dollars, according to the manager's own estimates.
Vanguard also emphasizes that it offers the range of UCITS ETFs with the lowest cost in Europe in terms weighted by assets. After this latest adjustment, the average expense ratio weighted by assets of its European equity and fixed income ETF offering will stand at 0.11%. In the last decade, the firm has carried out more than 80 commission reductions in its European investment fund and ETF ranges.
Investing through a portfolio made up of a single, globally diversified, low-cost ETF with high liquidity is now even more attractive. As one of Europe's leading global equity ETFs, the Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF offers investors a simple way to access the growth potential of around 4,000 large and mid-cap companies from markets around the world. This reduction in commissions reflects Vanguard's historic commitment to leveraging the advantages of our scale to reduce costs and improve results for investors.
