The countdown to the farewell of 2024 has begun!! Only a few days left until the end of this year and the beginning of 2025, undoubtedly a year full of exciting challenges and interesting opportunities. But before closing this chapter, the RankiaPro Europe team wanted to take a look back at what 2024 brought as, during the course of 2024 our project has consolidated and continued to grow: here's what we've achieved!
April 2024
- Breakfast with professionals in Porto
In April, we kicked off the year in terms of events by holding the first breakfast with professionals in Porto. In this first edition, we were joined by Groupama AM and Edmond de Rothschild AM, and we had the pleasure of having Filipe Silva, Investment Director at Banco Carregosa, as moderator of the event.
During the breakfast with professionals, Lisa Turk, Fund Manager Emerging Credit at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management and Juan Rodríguez-Fraile, Country Manager Iberia & Latam at Groupama Asset Management, presented their investment strategies. See you at the second edition!

- Rankia Funds Experience Lisbon, the XI Edition
On May 23rd, we celebrated the XI Edition of Rankia Funds Experience Lisbon, a new edition where we were joined by BNY Mellon Investment Management, Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, Franklin Templeton, Goldman Sachs, Invesco, Lazard Asset Management, Natixis Investment Managers & Ofi Invest Asset Management. Our Portuguese flagship event gathered more than 60 professionals from the industry who had the opportunity to hear firsthand the investment strategies from 8 fund management firms. June 2024
- Rankia Funds Experience Europe
From the 12th to the 14th of June we held the 3rd edition of our flagship event, the Rankia Funds Experience Europe, where we are joined by close to 100 investment professionals from all over Europe.
During the event, assistants had the opportunity to attend valuable meetings with the 9 participating asset managers, networking with attendees from all over Europe and much more…
In this edition we were joined by: abrdn, Global X ETFs, HSBC, Impax Asset Management, Lazard Asset Management, Lumyna, Nomura Asset Management, NS Partners & Zennor Asset Management.
Do not miss the IV edition of the Rankia Funds Experience Europe, which will take place from the 11th to the 13th of June 2025, at the Hotel Balneario Las Arenas, Valencia.
- RankiaPro Europe Awards
During the Rankia Funds Experience Europe, we hosted the RankiaPro Europe awards ceremony, where four industry professionals were awarded as ‘Professional of the Year’ in each of the categories: Fund Selector, Advisor, Fund Manager and Sales Manager. The Ceremony was attended by top industry professionals and was a great opportunity to network with professional investors from all over Europe.
November 2024
- Breakfast with professionals in Luxembourg
On November the 6th, the first Breakfast with Fund Selectors and Fund Buyers in Luxembourg was held. An opportunity to network with Luxembourg investment professionals, where we were joined by Brown Advisory (Amchor Investment Strategies), Global X ETFs and Trium Capital. During the event, Susanne Linhardt, Roberta Caselli and Harry Thomas presented their investment strategies to the audience. We look forward to seeing you at the next edition on March 13th, 2025.
- Breakfast with professionals in Paris
One day later, on November the 7th, we held the second edition of the Breakfast with Fund Selectors and Fund Buyers in Paris. On this occasion we were joined by Cigogne Management (La Française), Global X ETFs, Ninety One and NS Partners. A new opportunity to network in the French investment industry.
- Rankia Funds Experience Lisbon, the XII Edition
On November 28th we held the XII Edition of Rankia Funds Experience Lisbon, and the 2nd edition of 2024. A new opportunity to meet the best investment professionals in Portugal and to discover first-hand from the 8 participating asset managers, their investment strategies.
In this edition we were joined by Carmignac, Cobas Asset Management, DBi - iM Global Partner, Mirabaud Asset Management, Mobius Capital Partners, New Capital, Quaestio Capital Management & Sycomore AM. During the day were held one-to-few meetings, one-to-one meetings and a Networking Lunch where connections were established among Portuguese investment professionals.

- RankiaPro Europe celebrates its fifth anniversary
November was undoubtedly the most special month of the year, a month full of events in which we were able to share moments with great professionals from Portugal, France and Luxembourg, in addition, in the month of November, RankiaPro Europe celebrated its fifth anniversary! Thank you for being by our side during this journey! We look forward to many more years on the road alongside you.
December 2024
- Breakfast with professionals in Paris, the 3rd edition
Last but not least, we concluded the year with a new event held in Paris. At this breakfast with professionals held at the Hotel Plaza Athénée, we had the participation of RAM Active Investments and Trium Capital, who were able to share their investment strategies with the professionals in attendance.
See you again on March the 12th for a new event in Paris!
The year 2024 has undoubtedly had many highlights for the RankiaPro Europe team; however, we have also experienced a tragedy that has shaken us all: on October 29th, a huge storm unloaded thousands of litres of water in the interior of the province of Valencia (Spain), where we are based. The water overflowed several rivers and flooded 78 towns very close to the city, taking the lives of 227 people and leaving thousands of our neighbours homeless and without basic services such as electricity or water.
From the very first moment Rankia, our parent company, helped those affected by the floods by sending truckloads of basic necessities. Of course RankiaPro has participated in this initiative, and this December we have also collaborated by donating toys for the children in the most affected areas, some of whom have not yet been able to return home or to school, in the hope that they can spend the happy Christmas they deserve.
