After over 13 years as Head of Equity Sales for Italy at Natixis, where she built strong expertise in business development, Francesca Mozzati joined the Corporate Access team in 2013, focusing on origination and the organization of corporate events. In 2015, she played a key role in establishing and developing a team dedicated to promoting structured products across the BPCE banking network.
In 2018, she joined Sycomore AM, where she led business development for Southern Europe, further strengthening her international experience and ESG expertise. In 2025, she joined Exane Asset Management as Head of Sales for Southern Europe. She was named RankiaPro's Sales Manager of the Month. Today we speak with her about the role that women are playing in the financial sector.
For me, diversity means having people around the table who look at the same issue from different angles.
I work in an agile and practical way, and I truly enjoy exchanging views with those who see things differently, that’s when discussions become real, honest and constructive.
Diversity isn’t just a trendy word; it’s a practical strength. More perspectives mean fewer blind spots and stronger decisions. In an investment committee, that makes all the difference.
I would love to see a sector that recognises talent for what it really is. Where commitment, honesty and the ability to listen (qualities I deeply believe in), matter more than any label.
I believe in environments that value merit, support growth and allow people to perform at their best. When that happens, equality is no longer an objective, it becomes a natural outcome.
Although she wasn’t in finance, I would say my mother. She was my first real guide. She was an entrepreneur, determined and honest, exactly what I aspire to be.
She taught me the art of sales, but above all empathy and listening: the foundations of my work today. My clients are my passion, even more than what I sell, and I owe that to her.
I also admire people in our industry who build their careers with integrity and resilience, both women and men.
I have two daughters, and every day I hope they can look in the mirror with pride, for who they are today and for the women they will become.
To them, and to all young female professionals, I would say: believe in yourselves even when it’s hard, protect your ideas, and nurture your strengths with determination and kindness.
Let the joy of others energise you, celebrate your victories, even the small ones, and remember that your greatest power comes from being authentic.
Be curious, courageous and honest. The professional world needs exactly that.
