Amundi announces the appointment of Francesco Sandrini as CIO of Amundi Italy

Amundi has appointed Francesco Sandrini as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Amundi Italy. Sandrini has been with the firm since 1998, first joining Pioneer Investments, which later became part of Amundi. He has played key roles in the company, most recently overseeing Amundi Multi-Asset Strategies since 2022.
In his previous positions, Sandrini served as Head of Multi Asset Balance, Income, and Real Return Strategies from 2012, where he managed a variety of multi-asset portfolios. His extensive experience includes assignments in Dublin and Munich during his career.
Academically, Sandrini holds a degree in Economics from Bologna University, a Master’s Degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan (1998), and a PhD in Banking and Finance from University College Dublin (2009). His academic and professional background positions him as a significant leader in his new role at Amundi Italy.
