London, 6 February 2025 – Artemis Investment Management has announced the appointment of Fundbridge GmbH as a third-party distributor for its funds in Austria and Luxembourg. The partnership aims to strengthen Artemis’ presence in these key markets, expanding access for professional and institutional investors to its investment strategies.
The announcement was made in Vienna during the presentation of the US Smaller Companies and US Select strategies to professional investors. Cormac Weldon, a senior member of Artemis’ US equities team, emphasized the importance of this expansion in the context of growing demand for highly active and differentiated investment solutions.
Greg Jones, Head of Distribution at Artemis, stated: “Our relationship with Claude Hellers and Fundbridge will help Artemis better serve existing and potential clients across the region. The case for highly active and distinctive investment solutions remains compelling.”
Claude Hellers, Managing Partner at Fundbridge, added: “We are excited to collaborate with a sophisticated investment manager like Artemis. Its range of high-performing equity and fixed income funds is particularly relevant for our core client base of professional and institutional investors in Austria and Luxembourg.”
The macroeconomic and political landscape is influencing global investor decisions. According to Cormac Weldon, “President Trump’s second term has renewed interest in UK markets, as investors seek to diversify beyond the so-called ‘Magnificent Seven’—the large tech stocks that have driven much of the S&P 500’s performance over the past two years.”
Weldon also highlighted the potential of US small-cap companies: “The high level of domestic earnings generated by US small companies suggests a broad range of opportunities, which we believe investors will want to seize with the support of experienced, long-term-oriented managers like us.”
Artemis currently manages nine Luxembourg-domiciled funds, including US Select (€112 million AUM), US Smaller Companies (€300 million), and US Extended Alpha (€510 million). The partnership with Fundbridge marks another step in Artemis’ European growth strategy.
