BLI - Banque de Luxembourg Investments has announced the appointment of Marc Erpelding as Head of Asset Management, replacing Guy Wagner, who continues in the role of Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and continues to manage the BL Global Flexible EUR fund, among other mandates.
At the same time, the company announced the arrival of Quentin Gaget as Chief Operating Officer (COO) to support growth in a context of technological and operational evolution.

As Head of Asset Management, Marc Erpelding will lead, coordinate and develop the management teams across all asset classes (equity, bond, multi-management), becoming a key reference point within BLI and for its stakeholders. In collaboration with the Executive Committee and the management teams, he will ensure the continuity, credibility and solidity of BLI's investment methodology.

Erpelding, 49 years old, Luxembourgish, joined Banque de Luxembourg in 2002. A civil engineer graduated from the Federal Polytechnic of Zurich (ETH) and with a Master of Science in International Management from King’s College London, he is also a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA). After starting as a fund analyst, in 2007 he moved to the equity team, contributing decisively to the development of management on emerging markets. He will continue to follow these funds together with Raphaël Fürst, an analyst specialized in Asian markets since 2021 in BLI, who will become co-manager.
To support the growth path and respond to technological and operational transformations, BLI has appointed Quentin Gaget as Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, he will act as a cross-functional hub, with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and data enhancement.
Gaget, 38 years old, joined Banque de Luxembourg in 2017. He graduated in Economics and Finance (Université Lumière Lyon 2) and holds a Master's degree in International Relations (SciencesPo Grenoble). He has gained experience in the financial sector in Luxembourg and the United Kingdom, in areas related to financial markets, budget management, and regulatory reporting. After several years as a Senior Trader, in 2021 he took over the leadership of the Equity Desk, and then became Head of Multi Asset Trading at Banque de Luxembourg in 2023.
