Capital Group Appoints Benno Klingenberg-Timm as New Head of Institutional Distribution for Europe and Asia
Capital Group, one of the world's largest and most experienced investment firms with 92 years of investment expertise, has announced the appointment of Benno Klingenberg-Timm as the new Director of Institutional Distribution for Capital Group in Europe and Asia (EACG), effective immediately. Benno will report to Guy Henriques, President of Distribution for Capital Group in Europe and Asia, and he will also become a member of the EACG Management Committee.
Benno Klingenberg-Timm's primary role will involve expanding the company's institutional business, collaborating with local teams to provide customized investment services for institutional clients, and strengthening relationships with institutional clients in Europe and Asia. He will be based in Singapore.
Benno joins Capital Group from UBS Asset Management, where he most recently served as the Director of Institutional Business for Asia-Pacific. Over his two-decade tenure with the firm, he held various significant positions, including Director of Global Sovereign Markets, APAC, and General Manager for Sovereign and Middle East Clients. Throughout his career at UBS, Benno gained experience working in Singapore and Zurich.
