Cobas AM appoints Andrea Barbaranelli to develop business in Europe and the UK

Cobas AM today announced the appointment of Andrea Barbaranelli as an external agent registered by the Bank of Spain, strengthening the structure of the investment fund manager led by Francisco García Paramés, staunch proponent of value investing in Spain.
By joining Cobas AM, Barbaranelli reinforces the fund manager's commitment to the principles of value investing, bringing a consolidated experience in the development of the international institutional market and contributing to the objective of maximising value for investors globally. Barbaranelli will partner closely with distribution to promote Cobas AM's value investment solutions and insights to enhance international client engagement opportunities
Andrea's professional career
With an outstanding international background, a solid education and a passion for value, Andrea Barbaranelli began his professional career in 2007 at Bestinver, working under the direction of Francisco García Paramés. There he assumed responsibility for the international institutional market. Subsequently, from 2015, he was one of the partners at Azvalor, where he played a key role in the institutional area, contributing to the launch and success of the fund manager.
Barbaranelli holds a degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE) with a specialisation in finance from the Complutense University of Madrid. His academic training was enriched by studies in London, Paris and Madrid, achieving a fluent command of four languages: Spanish, Italian, French and English.
It is a pleasure to be reunited with former colleagues at Bestinver and an honour to work again with Francisco García Paramés.
