Federated Hermes bond head hired by Aviva Investors

Aviva Investors has appointed Fraser Lundie as its new global head of fixed income, joining from Federated Hermes. Lundie will report directly to Chief Investment Officer Daniel McHugh and will be responsible for overseeing the global rates, investment grade, high yield, emerging market debt, and global liquidity teams.
Extensive Experience in Fixed Income
Fraser Lundie brings a wealth of experience to Aviva Investors. At Federated Hermes, he served as head of fixed income for public markets, having joined the firm in 2010 as a senior credit portfolio manager. His tenure at Federated Hermes was marked by his leadership in fixed income strategies and his contributions to the firm’s public markets division.
Before his role at Federated Hermes, Lundie began his career at Fortis Investments in Paris. There, he worked as an investment associate and held various portfolio management and senior positions within the fixed income team, further honing his expertise in the sector.
Strategic Leadership
In his new role at Aviva Investors, Lundie will have overall responsibility for a broad array of fixed income strategies. His appointment is part of Aviva Investors’ strategic initiative to strengthen its fixed income capabilities and enhance its investment offerings across global markets.
