Fermat Capital Management, the specialist catastrophe bond and insurance-linked securities (ILS) investment manager, has announced the appointment of Sandro Tiziani as Director, Investor Relations for Switzerland and Italy, further strengthening its distribution capabilities and investor engagement across both markets.
Tiziani brings more than 18 years of experience in financial markets, alongside deep-rooted relationships with institutional investors in Switzerland and Italy. He joins Fermat from Bellevue Asset Management, a Zurich-based specialist asset manager, where he spent a decade and most recently served as Head of Sales Switzerland. In this role, he advised Swiss and Italian clients and established a strong track record as a trusted partner to sophisticated institutional investors, particularly in niche and alternative investment strategies.
Prior to Bellevue, Tiziani held senior roles at Bank J. Safra Sarasin and Julius Baer, further strengthening his expertise across private banking and asset management.
Commenting on the appointment, Fermat said Tiziani’s “proven ability to foster enduring, high-quality client relationships across multiple linguistic regions underscores Fermat’s commitment to providing localized and ILS-focused client service to its global investor base.”
We are delighted to welcome a professional of Sandro’s caliber to Fermat. Switzerland has long been a cornerstone market for Fermat, and Italy represents a natural and compelling area of future growth. Sandro’s appointment is a clear signal of our long-term commitment to both markets and our clients, ensuring they continue to receive the thoughtful, dedicated client service they value from Fermat, now further strengthened by Sandro’s local expertise and on-the-ground presence.

Tiziani’s hire forms part of Fermat’s broader global expansion of its investor relations platform. Over the past year, the firm has made senior investor relations appointments across the UK, Germany, Spain, the United States and APAC, following the launch of three Fermat commingled strategies in 2024.
