iM Global Partner appoints Luc Dumontier as Managing Director – CIO Global Asset Management

iM Global Partner (iMGP) has announced the entry of Luc Dumontier as Managing Director – CIO Global Asset Management. From the Paris office, he will lead the global asset management team, with the task of overseeing the management of the funds and further developing the company's product range.
In his new role, Dumontier will oversee the management of iM Global Partner's funds and the expansion of the offering, which includes both UCITS funds and US vehicles. The activity will be coordinated from the Paris headquarters, in close connection with the group's investment, research and product development functions.

Luc Dumontier, Managing Director – CIO Asset Management
Experience and professional path
With over 25 years of experience in managing investments across all major asset classes and alternative strategies, Dumontier comes from Ossiam, where he held the position of Managing Partner – Head of Investments and Operations, with responsibilities on investments, research, positioning and structuring of products and on the operational area. Previously, he was Head of Factor Investing at LFIS Capital.
He began his career at Sinopia Asset Management as an equity fund manager, later becoming Head of Absolute Return; after the integration of Sinopia into HSBC Global Asset Management, he took on the role of Head of Global Macro and Absolute Return. Dumontier holds a master's degree in Economics, Money and Finance from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
Luc has extensive knowledge in the field of asset management and I am very happy that he has joined the iM Global Partner team. He brings with him a wide experience in investments across various asset classes and strategies, particularly in alternative investments and factor investing, which align perfectly with our strategic ambitions. He also boasts a remarkable track record in the development of products and strategies that have successfully attracted substantial managed assets.
