Jupiter AM hires the European equity team from GAM Investments

Jupiter AM announced today the hiring of Niall Gallagher, Chris Sellers, and Chris Legg, from GAM Investments, in order to restructure its investment experience in this key area for the management company.
The European equity team has worked together for several years, leading and managing the successful and experienced European equity division of GAM. The European equity team is expected to join Jupiter in the summer of 2025.
New European equity team
Currently, the European equity team manages around 1.4 billion pounds sterling in European equity strategies for both institutional and retail clients. As one of the leading European equity teams in the sector, it has a solid investment track record, with first quartile performance in almost all time periods. In this regard, they have also managed to attract assets, ensuring positive net inflows into their strategies over the last five years, at a time when European equities have recorded over 100,000 million pounds sterling of accumulated net outflows across the sector.
Today's announcement is consistent with Jupiter's strategy of attracting leading investment talents to deliver superior results to clients and an exemplary customer experience.
If there are no new contacts with GAM regarding the possible transfer of the funds currently managed by the European equity team, we expect the team, after an orderly transfer, to assume the management of the investments of Jupiter's current range of European equity funds in the summer of 2025. Any transition of investment management responsibilities will be seamless and will be managed in the best interest of clients.
