Ofi Invest AM appoints Éric Bertrand as new CEO

Ofi Invest AM announced today a change in its leadership: Éric Bertrand, until now Deputy General Manager and Director of Investments, will be the new CEO as of March 27, 2026.
Jean Pierre Grimaud, until now CEO of Ofi Invest and Ofi Invest Asset Management, will fully focus on his role as CEO of the Ofi Invest group.
The management company, emerged in 2023 from the merger of OFI AM and Abeille Asset Management (formerly Aviva Investors France), consolidates its growth with 187.1 billion euros in assets under management and a particularly dynamic 2025.
Éric Bertrand's Career
Bertrand (55 years old) has been Deputy General Manager and Director of Investments of OFI AM since 2021 and, subsequently, of Ofi Invest Asset Management since 2023. He joined Ofi AM in 2016 as head of Fixed Income and Diversified Management.
Previously, he was Deputy Director of Investments at CPR AM, an entity he joined in 1994. He began his career as a money market manager, arbitrage operator and, later, manager of corporate and government bonds in the year 2000.
Éric Bertrand is an actuary, graduated from the Institut de Science Financière et d’Assurances (ISFR), and began his career as an actuarial research analyst at Comptoir des Entrepreneurs.
In three years, Ofi Invest Asset Management has reached a milestone with the successful integration of Abeille Asset Management and subsequently of Egamo. This change of scale has opened new opportunities, while preserving what makes us unique: the quality of our service and the closeness to our clients. Ofi Invest Asset Management is now solidly positioned on its growth path. I am very pleased to entrust the direction of Ofi Invest Asset Management to Éric Bertrand, with whom I have worked closely for many years. Throughout that time, I have been able to appreciate his energy, his pragmatism and his ability to unite teams around value-creating initiatives. This transition, prepared for some time, is a natural evolution of our strategy. Éric has already played a key role in our governance structure as Deputy General Manager. His experience and strategic vision make him the natural choice to lead Ofi Invest Asset Management in achieving its objectives. As for me, I will fully dedicate myself to my responsibilities as director of the Ofi Invest group.
