Pictet Asset Management has announced the appointment, effective from May 1, 2026, of Malick Badjie as co-global head of sales and member of the Executive Committee.
Badjie will share the responsibility with Niall Quinn, co-global head of sales at Pictet AM since 2016. Both will report to Raymond Sagayam, partner and co-CEO of Pictet Asset Management.
Malick succeeds Luca Di Patrizi, who after 27 years at Pictet AM will leave his role as director of European sales in September 2026 to assume the function of strategic advisor. Until retirement, Di Patrizi will focus on specific projects and initiatives aimed at accelerating the growth of the business and the transformation of Pictet AM, continuing to report to Raymond Sagayam.
Badjie comes to Pictet AM from Robeco, where he spent nine years most recently holding the role of global director of sales and marketing and being part of the Executive Committee. With over 23 years of experience, he has held customer-oriented responsibility roles in London, the United States and the Middle East.
We welcome Malick to our distribution management team. His vision and experience will strengthen our commitment to providing exceptional quality assistance to our customers. I am confident that Malick, supported by Niall Quinn and Derick Bader, our director of marketing and products, will give further impetus to growth and innovation in Pictet AM.
Raymond Sagayam, partner and co-CEO of Pictet Asset Management
