Ivo Frielink, Global Head of Sales & Marketing at Robeco
Amr Albialy, who since September 2025 had been acting as Head of Institutional Sales for EMEA and North America, now officially takes responsibility for the area. Based in Dubai, he will also continue to lead sales activities in the Middle East and Central Asia.
Having joined Robeco in 2011 as Head of Sales for the Middle East and subsequently Regional Head of Institutional Sales for the Middle East and Central Asia, Albialy has played a decisive role over the past 15 years in expanding Robeco's institutional presence in the region, with solid commercial results, sustained growth and long-term strategic partnerships with customers.
Frank Groven has been appointed Head of Global Financial Institutions, tasked with leading and expanding business relationships with global financial institutions and accelerating the development of the wholesale distribution strategy worldwide. Currently Head of Wholesale Belgium and Luxembourg (BeLux), Groven has been at Robeco for over 18 years, where he started as Client Portfolio Manager Fixed Income and, since 2012, has overseen commercial development in the BeLux region. To ensure continuity in the area, Erik van de Weele, currently Sales Manager BeLux, will take over the functions of BeLux Manager on an interim basis.
