UBS Asset Management has announced the appointment of Amanda Rebello as the new Head of ETF and Index Fund Sales, effective from September 16th. Rebello will take over from Clemens Reuters, who is preparing for retirement after a long career of over 30 years in the financial sector, 15 of which were spent at UBS.
Amanda's appointment reflects our commitment to accelerating growth in a strategically important area. I am confident that Amanda has all the right credentials to take the business to the next level in a highly competitive context, as we continue to develop our offering and expand our skills globally.
André Mueller, Head of Client Coverage at UBS Asset Management
Rebello will be based in London and will be part of UBS AM's Client Coverage Management Forum, reporting directly to André Mueller, Head of Client Coverage. She will initially collaborate with Clemens Reuters to ensure a smooth transition, in line with recent strategic developments such as the launch of UBS AM's first active ETF and the expansion of the Core range of equity and bond ETFs.
Amanda Rebello brings to UBS AM a wealth of experience gained in the EMEA and North American markets, with a focus on both active and passive ETFs. Before joining UBS, she was Head of Xtrackers Sales for the United States at DWS, operating from New York. Her resume also includes a significant period at BlackRock in London, where she held positions of responsibility within the iShares division, with particular attention to the promotion of structured products and derivatives linked to ETFs.
