Vanguard has announced the appointment of Ursula Marchioni as the new Head of Multi-Asset & Adviser Solutions for Europe, a newly established role that strengthens the company's organization in the multi-asset solutions segment and support for financial advisors.

In her new role, Marchioni will be responsible for overseeing the Model Portfolio Solutions (MPS) area, the multi-asset teams, the Advisory Research Centre (ARC) and the Portfolio Analytics & Consulting team at Vanguard Europe. The manager will also become part of the company's European Leadership Team and will report directly to Jon Cleborne, head of Vanguard Europe.
The creation of this position highlights Vanguard's focus on the development of integrated portfolio solutions and on strengthening support for financial advice in the European market.
Ursula Marchioni brings to Vanguard a solid experience in multi-asset investments, in portfolio solutions and in the relationship with financial advisors at the European level. Most recently, she held the role of managing director at BlackRock, where she led the Investment and Portfolio Solutions area for the EMEA region.
Previously, she gained professional experience at Credit Suisse, Société Générale and KPMG. Marchioni graduated in Physics from the University of Trento, an academic path that completes a managerial profile with a strong specialization in the investment sector.
